Made it!
In several ways this was a significantly tougher trek than we anticipated. But the reward is a walk into a timeless city along with a fancy certificate that celebrates the accomplishment. Although since wrtiien in Latin it could easily say "you have to be a real idiot to do this when cars and trains have been invented."
